Discuss Detroit

While this is a good movie, worth a one time watch if only for Kathryn Bigelow's masterful directing, it's not great. But it should be good enough to garner several Oscar nominations this year.

This is a really gritty drama. I liked it. It's a no nonsense type of serious drama that keeps you riveted and glued to the screen. But all in all, as a whole, it's not truly great and not a movie I'd want to watch again.

Just my thoughts about the film. Feel free to share yours. Very few people, it seems, have seen it. It only has about 4,000 ratings on IMDB. For an Oscar-type movie, I'm surprised, although it's definitely not a movie I'd recommend seeing on the big screen....

It's a 7/10.

I think it could garner some Oscar noms as well, especially for Will Poulter, who played the leader of the racist band of cops. Very psychotic performance.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/uMrky7pGk5w
