Héléna Werner leads a reclusive and deserted life. Alone, as if withdrawn from the world in her apartment of refined luxury. She places an ad for a private secretary, a "handyman" who would take her away from the daily grind. As soon as he starts working, Milo adopts an intriguing behavior. From the start, he takes everything in hand and the doors of the apartment close on them both.

Héléna vit seule, comme retirée du monde dans son appartement au luxe raffiné. Les affaires, la vie et ses contraintes l'ennuient. Elle passe une annonce pour trouver un secrétaire particulier, un "homme à tout faire" qui la délivrerait du quotidien. Dès son entrée en fonction, Milo adopte un comportement intrigant. Il modifie son apparence : la barbe rasée, il de-vient le sosie du mari d'Héléna dont le suicide l'obsède depuis vingt ans. Puis il referme la porte derrière lui et l'interdit à tous ceux qui vivent dans l'entourage de sa "maîtresse". Tout se joue désormais à huis-clos...
