Este corto, creado durante un laboratorio cinematográfico en el Festival de Sundance de junio de 1991, fue el embrión de la ópera prima de Quentin Tarantino. El cineasta ha señalado en varias ocasiones la importancia que tuvo para él ese evento en el que, sus propuestas de tomas largas y en las se veían tanto el suelo como un retrete, no fueron del agrado de los directores veteranos que supervisaban el taller, a excepción de uno: Terry Gilliam. Su apoyo fue fundamental en el arranque de la carrera del legendario cineasta que llegaría a ser Quentin Tarantino. |
