I can see Romans in my search result here -- its further down in the list because Retaliation is an alternative title. Do you not see Romans in those results (its the second to last one)?

apparently the API on 'search' is not checking the alternative names. the inquiry is for 'Retribution'. I see in my post the 2nd Romans text should have been 'Retribution'. Apparently based on the reported system error, the API originally did reply and give data for Retribution via the alternative search reply. using the search input box on the home page of TMDB the lookup of Retribution is successful, indicating an API issue?

Wait, are you trying to find this page through searching for "Retaliation" or "Retribution"? Retaliation is added to the alternative title page, Retribution is not... the system will not find a page by an alternate title if the alternate title is not entered in the database.

yes, just typed wrong movie in last reply. the usa title per IMDB and availability of the video is Retaliation and the API reports no title found where it did previously find it. this is the system message apparently from the API: Movie Retaliation (tmdbid 744874) was removed from TMDb

That's because 744874 was removed, since it was a duplicate. If you're having trouble searching the API using the alternate title of 451764, I'd post about it in the API support section, someone more knowledgeable about the API will help you there.
