Anyone able to spell it out? I enjoyed the tension and suspense, but found myself still baffled upon the conclusion of the film! In particular I don't understand the parallel to the boy who cried wolf. The whole point of that story is that no-one believed him the third time, but in his case, they did...? It seemed like he struck upon his plan while reading the fable to his son at night, but I'm unclear what his plan actually entailed and how it landed him hero status. The film seems to imply he somehow engineered the lasting peace, but it seems to me it was him that prompted the war. Clearly I need a history lesson - anyone break it down for me?
