It's an odd little hypnotic film. Not scary or nearly as intense as the trailer would have you to believe. But I have to admit I was hooked when I started watching. Cricket is hard enough to understand, but to have it played by lunatics from the asylum and this odd - and deadly- scoring shack on wheels. When Alan Bates finally does his SHOUT all I could see were all the fillings in his upper teeth. Tim Curry a few years from Rocky Horror is downright meek.
