Michael is a successful actor, but he has a scandal in his past: at a tender age he knifed his father to death. He and his girlfriend Deborah go to his mother's for the weekend, and are joined by the director and others from a recent film project, who are given a rather cool reception by the superstitious housekeeper Oliver. Soon rude things begin happening to some of the guests, and Michael fears a repeat of his nightmare past is in progress.

Michael est un acteur à succès, mais il a un scandale dans son passé: à un âge tendre, il a poignardé son père à mort. Lui et sa petite amie Deborah se rendent chez sa mère pour le week-end, et sont rejoints par le réalisateur et d'autres personnes d'un récent projet de film, qui reçoivent un accueil plutôt cool de la gouvernante superstitieuse Oliver. Bientôt, des choses désagréables commencent à arriver à certains des invités, et Michael craint qu'une répétition de son passé cauchemardesque ne soit en cours.

Michael è un attore che decide di tornare a casa della madre Glenda che non vede da quindici anni. Viene però colto da un raptus omicida sul set di un film che sta interpretando e il giorno dopo va nella spettrale casa di campagna di Glenda insieme alla fidanzata Debora. Qui è accolto dall’inquietante maggiordomo Oliver e nei giorni successivi lo raggiungono il regista Schwartz, l’aiuto regista Shirley e l’attrice Beverly per continuare la lavorazione del film.

Schauspieler Michael (Stefano Patrizi) schleppt seit seiner Kindheit ein traumatisches Erlebnis mit sich, daß hin und wieder für unkontrollierte Gewaltausbrüche sorgt. Aus unerklärlichen Gründen besucht er nun, mit einpaar Kollegen, das Haus seiner Eltern, wo damals alles begann. Vor vielen Jahren, endete ein Seitensprung seiner Mutter (Anita Strindberg) mit dem Tod seines Vaters. Seit jener Zeit wird er beschuldigt seinen Vater ermordet zu haben, um seine Mutter zu beschützen, doch Michael kann sich an nichts erinnern. Plötzlich werden seine Kollegen nacheinander ermordet...
