A young biologist, Mary Jane, who focuses on lepidoptery (the study of moths and butterflies), doesn't have the perfect life; she does however have what she considers the perfect son. Tragedy strikes and Mary Jane's world is disturbingly turned upside down. Fleeing the troubled "real world" she embarks upon a solitary bush project. In the isolated and surreal landscape Mary Jane starts experiencing strange phenomena. The opportunity to be a mother again presents itself, only it comes at a cost for Mary Jane and what's left of her family.

Una joven bióloga, Mary Jane, que se centra en la lepidoptery (el estudio de las polillas y las mariposas), no tiene la vida perfecta; sin embargo, tiene lo que considera el hijo perfecto. La tragedia golpea y el mundo de Mary Jane se trastorna de manera inquietante. Huyendo del turbulento "mundo real", se embarca en un proyecto de arbustos solitarios. Tragédie udeří a svět Mary Jane je znepokojivě obrácen vzhůru nohama. Utekla z problémového „skutečného světa“ a pustila se do projektu osamělého keře. V izolované a neskutečné krajině Mary Jane začíná zažívat podivné jevy. Příležitost být matkou se opět dostavuje, pouze to má pro Mary a to co zbylo z její rodiny, svou cenu.
