Without having made any deep research here, I think the original theatrical title is the current one (at least confirmed by posters). Then the re-releases may have used the shorter title (again posters indicate this is so).
(Edit: And our policy is to stick with the original title, Star Wars being the prime example.)
(Edit 2: I guess it should work the same for translated titles?)
