Charmander's voice calls out from the darkness if Squirtle is okay. The sleeping boy wakes up, and can't believe himself when he sees a talking Charmander. Charmander then points out that he's a Pokémon too. The boy takes a look at his reflection at a river besides him, and sees that it is true! He has turned into a Squirtle, and has no recollection at all how this had happened.

Die Stimme von Glumander ruft aus der Dunkelheit: "Geht es dir gut, Schiggy?". Der schlafende Junge wacht auf und kann es kaum glauben, als er ein sprechendes Glumander sieht. Glumander weist ihn verwundert dann darauf hin, dass er auch ein Pokémon ist. Der Junge wirft einen Blick auf sein Spiegelbild in einem Fluss neben ihm und sieht, dass es wahr ist! Er hat sich in ein Schiggy verwandelt und kann sich überhaupt nicht mehr daran erinnern, wie das passiert ist.

Schließlich schließt er sich dem Rettungsteam "Flinke Freunde" an, um in Not geratenen Pokémon zu helfen.

A voz de Charmander grita da escuridão se Squirtle estiver bem. O rapaz adormecido acorda e não acredita em si mesmo quando vê um Charmander falante. Charmander sublinha então que também é um Pokémon. O rapaz olha para o seu reflexo num rio além dele, e vê que é verdade! Ele transformou-se num Squirtle, e não se lembra de como isto aconteceu.

Un humano despierta y se da cuenta de que se ha convertido en un Squirtle. Luego de calmarse, decide unirse a un equipo de rescate llamado "Equipo Todo Lo Puede", con los miembros Chikorita y Charmander. El equipo acepta una misión para rescatar al hermano mayor de Pichu, Pikachu; mientras el famoso "Equipo ACT" (Alakazam, Charizard y Tyranitar) estaba ocupado en la Caverna Magma, rescatando a Plusle y Minun. Otro equipo, llamado "Equipo Maloso" (Gengar, Ekans y Medicham), también ha aceptado la misión.
