I've yet to get through the original The Thomas Crown Affair (1968), but the remake The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) is one of my favourites.

Interestingly, the original has a higher rating here on TMDb (69%) than the remake (67%), so I really ought to power through a viewing of the original.

I remember trying to watch the original Ocean's Eleven (1960) and not being able to get into it the first few viewings, even though I loved the remake Ocean's Eleven (2001). When I finally did get through the original, I dug it - while I think the remake is a better movie (and the ratings appear to support that, with the remake at 74% vs. the original at 65%), the ending in the original is one hell of a kick in the head! But I digress, point is, sitting through the original TCA is also likely to be worth the effort, even though it seems to start quite slow.

All that said, for MBJ to take on this Hollywood classic? Looking forward to him doing justice and taking it to yet another level!
