Discuss Thor: Love and Thunder

Going to 7-11 as a teen, I used to love going to comic rack, and almost always passed up Thor (another classic Thor adventure) for Spidey, or anything else. I guess movies are no different. This is venturing too far into silly, unwatchable for me.

Without the kids and everything related to children this would've been much better. Waititi's humor was good enough, although not as good as in Ragnarok. And the story was not bad, the idea of a man that goes against gods because of how they treat simple people is excellent. This could be such a great story, so much potential in such concept. I was also very impressed from the visual aspect of the movie and the action. This was very polished and impressive production.

However, adding aspect of the children is hugely problematic. This is f*cking Disney spreading their dirty hands to anything that can be good and f*cking infecting everything it touches. When will we get rid of this curse called Disney? Seriously, if they were just a smaller plot detail to motivate Thor it could be fine. But giving them very significant roles and possible future involvement in MCU is just complete bullcrap. Disney turned MCU to a f*cking kindergarten. I mean, compare the themes and the intentions of the Iron Man or the Winter Soldier and whatever is called MCU now. Embarrassing.

Well said D-Magic. At least we have an evolving continuous universe. Something not previously achieved. Love the Van Damne split pose! Haha not!

Yeah, haha. There was a Van Damme spin kick as well. The humor was good, the main concept of a god butcher was very good, the drama with Jane was also quite good and ended well. That whole female Thor was well done and well explained, had no problem with it whatsoever. But the kids and that awful ending when Thor becomes a foster parent, that's just a big No.
