This is the first time I felt like I had to write a review, just to prevent others from wasting their time,

My guess is that it is actually a mockumentary, it starts off ok, sets the theme all right, but then, it just tries sooo hard to be sooo frightening. it ends up being just ridiculous, the the v8 style shots, the music/sound cues are worse than a b-movie, the meme pictures, you know, those with the blatant red circles so you don't miss the scary thing. Absurd. Tedious, and that is just the 1st half .

In the 2nd half, we get to see the dude's face, I laughed so hard, it is a constipated Jim Carrey's Mask, that's it. And now we have to watch ALL the same shots from half 1, but now with a twist, it was Jim Carrey all along !!, and we see all the 'real experiencers' contradict themselfs. I was yawning, I almost faceplanted on my keyboard.

This is an insult to real sleep paralysis experiencers like myself, an insult to The Hatman, and an insult to poor underlaxated Jim Carrey.
