In 1936, the Spanish Civil War has just begun. Rebel army is taking at force a republican village, So, Juan and "Bicho" are obligated to go away the death. They will try to arrive the mines, where some refugees want to create a resistance against the rebels. Will they get their purpose?

En los primeros días de la Guerra Civil española, la ocupación militar de un pueblo por parte del bando nacional obliga a Juan, el hijo del alcalde republicano, y al Bicho, otro muchacho, a darse a la fuga, echándose al monte con la finalidad de llegar a las minas, donde un grupo de huidos está organizando la resistencia.
