Gas station owner Donald thinks he's just missed the winning number for a new Zoom V8 car but his nephews hear a correction, and find he really does have the winner. They plan to pick it up and surprise him, but the car they take runs out of gas, and they're broke. They cut out the picture of a Zoom V8 from a billboard, dress one of the boys in drag, and trick Donald into filling their tank. As they drive off, Donald plots his revenge and executes it, when the boys return in Donald's new car.

Donald, el propietario de una gasolinera, cree que se le ha escapado el número ganador de un nuevo automóvil Zoom V8, pero sus sobrinos escuchan una corrección y descubren que realmente tiene el ganador. Planean recogerlo y sorprenderlo, pero el auto que toman se queda sin gasolina y están arruinados. Recortan la imagen de un Zoom V8 de un cartel publicitario, visten a uno de los chicos como drag y engañan a Donald para que llene su tanque. Mientras se alejan, Donald planea su venganza y la ejecuta, cuando los chicos regresan en el auto nuevo de Donald.

Mackägaren Kalle tror att han gått miste om en ny bil, men Knattarna hör en rättelse på radion som innebär att han faktiskt vann tävlingen. De planerar att hämta bilen men får slut på bensin, vilket blir problematiskt då de är panka. Så de förklär sin bil för att försöka få Kalle att fylla på tanken gratis. De lyckas med det hela och sticker iväg till Kalles stora förtret. Han börjar snart smida sin hämnd på pojkarna, som ovetandes är på väg hem med hans pris.
