I didn't see a flaw.

Yes, it was good bar the predictable ending. It was like the classic Japanese films but with high level special effects.

I had the misfortune of seeing the new Godzilla x Kong trailer before this (with the two creatures doing a Batman & Robin type run) so I'm not sure if that skewed my enjoyment.

I liked the movie but I rated it 7/10.

The problem was that they really overdone the hummans storylines. Sometimes it got really boring and annoying.

The sentimental and emotional melodrama is a big problem with many Asian movies. I've seen it many times before, how tear jerking scenes ruin many Korean, Japanese, Thai and other movies coming from Asia. The emphasis on primitive and overly sentimental approach to dramatic scenes, especially involving young children, is for some reason still acceptable trope in these movies, despite how ridiculous it looks to a western cynic. Other than that this movie was awesome, and that retro look of Godzilla walking on land and attacking a train was absolutely superb touch.
