Enfant, Saül échappe à la Shoah grâce au kindertransport lui permettant de passer de Vienne à Bruxelles. Quarante ans plus tard, il y est propriétaire d’un restaurant delicatessen dédié au 7ème art où se croisent des personnages aux histoires singulières et joyeuses.
