If it was about eye contact wouldn't be whole problem solved just by wearing mirrored sunglasses?
Also during first interaction with waitress they were looking at each other for very long time, which was from his side pretty stupid to the extent I thought maybe she is immune, I was surprised they didn't introduced immune character.
What was with website instructions to delete all your social media, email etc, it didn't make much sense considering attackers were not violent while they lost eye contact, so it's not like they will be looking for you online to kill you.
Other than this, it was nice to see European sci-fi, I really liked the vibe (similar to Perfect Sense, which made more sense and had great acting and music or Blindness, which would solve everyone's trouble here), opening credits with shifting building were great, music seem good, though I felt movie felt apart in last half/third until then it all made sense, then suddenly "infection" spread and roles reversed.
I wish there was explanation how does it work and how to protect yourself from either provoking attack or getting violent, how long you need to stare at once or cumulatively, if repeated attacks never stop (seems not), why two infected people don't attack each other, etc.
Stay at home PSA felt still too early less than 3 years since they locked us home over fatso/old ppl flu.
