After FOX recently hinted at a Firefly continuation being possible, which yielded absolutely no reaction (that I could find, but believe me, I looked) from Joss, I think maybe he doesn't want to re-light the fire...fly (pun not intended).

Or maybe he did not react because it was FOX and he did not want to work with FOX again... we can never know as... well, again, he did not react. But even if Netflix wanted to resurrect Firefly, they would still need to buy the rights from FOX and that ain't cheap, as we know...

So what Netflix should do instead is to give a series slot to Joss, some budget and full creative control. I would love to see a new series created by him! It's been almost 10 years since Dollhouse, so I think it's time. Sadly, apart from the untitled WWII horror, he has no visible projects in the future, so I don't know how willing he is to work on a series nowadays, but hey, a fan can dream.
