Benoit Eon is a French still photographer known since his teens for his photos behind the scenes of the movie Good king Dagobert (Le Bon Roi Dagobert). Her grandmother Anne Caprile was a well-known actress from the 1950s to the 1970s and his grandfather Claude Baks was a friend and producer associated with the director Roberto Rossellini.

After completing his military service in France as a photographer and camera operator for the cinematographic and photographic institution of the armies, he became in 1992 one of the European pioneers in virtual editing & 3D image synthesis and participates as a subcontractor in the finalization of scenes of various movies like The Mask with Chuck Russel or The Fifth Element (Le Cinquième Élément) with Luc Besson.

He is also known in France for his photos of famous singers on stage or backstage, including in Cuba those of the famous Cuban group Buena Vista Social Club as well as those of very many singers of the French film Stars 80.

He leaves Paris in 2006 to settle in a small village in the south of France where he continues to photograph various artists or events around the world as the world premiere of the movie Avengers : Age of Ultron for Marvel Studios in Hollywod or the making of the series The Hotwives of Las Vegas for Hulu in Las Vegas.

Benoit Eon est un photographe évènementiel, de concert et de plateau, connu dès son adolescence pour ses photos de tournage du film Le Bon Roi Dagobert. Sa grand-mère était une actrice connue dans les années 1950/1970, et son grand-père était producteur associé au réalisateur Roberto Rossellini.

Après avoir accompli son service militaire en France en tant que photographe et cameraman pour l'Établissement de Communication et de Production Audiovisuelle de la Défense (ex Établissement Cinématographique et Photographique des Armées), il devient en 1992 un des pionniers européens en matière de montage virtuel et d’images de synthèse et participe comme sous-traitant à la finalisation de scènes de divers films comme The Mask avec Chuck Russel ou Le Cinquième Élément avec Luc Besson.

On le connait en France pour ses photos de chanteurs sur scène ou en coulisses et pour celles de très nombreux chanteurs du film français Stars 80, ou à La Havane pour celles du célèbre groupe cubain Buena Vista Social Club.

Il quitte Paris en 2006 pour s'installer dans un petit village du sud de la France à proximité de Narbonne d’où il continue à photographier divers artistes ou événements dans le monde comme la première mondiale du film Avengers : L'Ère d'Ultron pour Marvel Studios à Hollywod ou le Making-Of de la série The Hotwives of Las Vegas pour Hulu à Las Vegas.
