Biography

Originally from Washington D.C., Lauren is a NYC-based actress who dodged law school and decided she would rather play one on screen. Lauren’s journey in the entertainment biz began behind the scenes alongside some of the industry’s top producers, where she learned from Academy Award winning producers, writers, directors and actors. It was while working behind the scenes during Oscar season with some of the actors she idolized, that she realized she needed to follow her true passion as an actress. So, she emerged underneath a pile of haute couture ballgown dresses and dazzling red carpet jewels and headed back to school for the 2-year program at the William Esper Studio for a deep dive into the Meisner technique, which was quite different from the double major she earned at NYU in Politics and Communications. She was very honored to be able to study with the legendary Bill Esper during her time at the studio. Meanwhile she has been busy rooting herself in the NY indie film scene. Her recent film “Abigail” has been sweeping the festival circuit and won Best Film at Point Look Film Festival as well as the Audience Award at the Long Island International Film Expo. She just wrapped production on another film “Will You Now or in the Future,” a story of female empowerment, that was proudly created by an all-female production team. As an artist, Lauren’s mission is to tell stories featuring women in strong roles in life whether it’s overcoming adversity, taking on a tough leadership position, figuring out navigating the new world order or feeling comfortable in their own skin as a modern woman.

You can also catch Lauren on numerous appearances on “Million Dollar Listing: New York” if you are a reality show junkie…which makes sense because when she isn’t on camera, Lauren runs a multi-million-dollar business selling luxury real estate throughout the city. She also produces her own digital series “On Location with Lauren” that features New York’s cinematic hotspots combining movies and real estate which has its own YouTube channel. Lauren loves healthy living and runs with New York Road Runners in Central Park and is a Pilates junkie. When she isn’t bouncing around the city, she puts on her Martha Stewart apron and loves to entertain in her home on the Upper East Side with her family. Whether it’s an apron, a power suit, or perhaps even an haute couture ballgown of her own, Lauren always looks forward to dazzling on the screen.
