Hi @Netant,
That's odd. None of our external reporting is showing any issues. If you right click one of the images that didn't load, copy the URL, and then open a new tab and paste the URL, what do you see/get back?
For example for, Love Island: All Stars, I get this poster in that list:
https://media.themoviedb.org/t/p/w440_and_h660_face/aTpMwcMzgwUfs5mY8WJEhBn7Q7y.jpg
What do you get when you try and open that image in your browser?

@travisbell thanks for you reply.
if i click the link provided "https://media.themoviedb.org/t/p/w440_and_h660_face/aTpMwcMzgwUfs5mY8WJEhBn7Q7y.jpg" it opens a blank page.
but if i copy the url and paste in new tab, it redirects to "https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/w440_and_h660_face/aTpMwcMzgwUfs5mY8WJEhBn7Q7y.jpg" and displays the poster image.
UPDATE: checked with few more datapoint, i can safely say (at my end) , images in url "media.themoviedb.org" is not loading, but when opening the same image in new tab redirects to new url "image.tmdb.org" and opens the image perfectly fine.
additionally did nslookup, if might be help in troubleshooting.

A few questions that can help us figure out what's happening:
To do that, I'd suggest:

looks like the frame is block by Indian Govt. ?

Ah yes, that would be the issue. Over the years we’ve had misc. reports of this. On and off blocks by the Indian government. I haven’t heard of any recently though, until your report that is.
What’s even more weird is that this is a brand new domain for us, we only just started using it about 45 days ago. So they blocked it real quick, which is… weird.

Thanks for confirmation, you suggest any workaround ? guess its breaking the tmdb api for jellyfin/emby as well.

media.themoviedb.org
is only used on the website, it is not used on the API at all. With regards to fixing it? There’s nothing I have found I can do. In the past when this happened I had tried to submit a complaint with the Indian government body responsible for this but had issues because I wasn’t an Indian citizen. We had a bunch of users contact their ISP’s and/or the body responsible for this and it seemed to eventually go away.
There might be a browser add-on out there that can swap domain names on the fly. If such a thing exists, you could swap
media.themoviedb.org
forimage.tmdb.org

Oh, one thing that another user mentioned that worked for them was simply changing the DNS name servers you're using locally. I'd be curious to know if if changes anything for you. You can try using one of either:
It sounds like that made everything work again for multiple people, which means it might just be a DNS level block, which is pretty easy to get around.

@travisbell yes, changed dns to 9.9.9.11 and it worked. ( earlier tried redirecting media.themoviedb.org & image.tmdb.org, that didn't worked 100% except in first page.)

+1 in Iran Hi, is it possible to host images on aws, google cloud or azure ? there would be more bothering for governments if they decide to block those domains.

I just find out something weird:
normally I can't open this link : https://media.themoviedb.org/t/p/w220_and_h330_face/kCGlIMHnOm8JPXq3rXM6c5wMxcT.jpg but if I open https://www.themoviedb.org/ in another tab and click on "Trending This Week" button, the url gets load !! (poster of movie
Poor Thing
is there)now the question is why images are getting loaded in main page of tmdb but not separately ???

You can't access images directly on
media.themoviedb.org
, that is a domain reserved for our website users only.image.tmdb.org
is the publicly available domain for direct links and usage.Vastaus käyttäjältä mrj97

@travisbell thanks for the quick reply I just download that image witch Python code, so seems it is accessible directly or am I missing something?
I'll ask my question in other words again can you please think about it:
https://media.themoviedb.org/t/p/w220_and_h330_face/kCGlIMHnOm8JPXq3rXM6c5wMxcT.jpg this link not loaded in the browser but when I open main page of https://www.themoviedb.org/, then I can load it, I'll upload a video later for better clearifiction

Yes, because of the reason I stated above. You cannot hot link to
media.themoviedb.org
.
