故事讲述三位机械猫忍者太郎、十郎、同宝宝，平常以薄饼店员工隐藏身份暗中对抗乌鸦一族侵略的野心。

De setting is een Japans ogend dorp genaamd 'Little Tokyo', waar de Pizza Cats een pizza-fastfoodbedrijf runnen. Little Tokyo wordt bevolkt door allerlei dieren. De officiële gouverneur van de stad is de keizer, maar sinds hij gek is geworden, zorgt een raad voor het welzijn van het dorp. Een van de leden van deze raad heet Seymour 'Big' Cheese, die in het geheim de controle over het dorp wil overnemen. Het pizza-afhaalrestaurant is slechts een dekmantel voor hun ware werk... Wanneer het kwaad op de loer ligt, worden de Pizza Cats op het gevaar afgevuurd vanaf de op wapens lijkende klokkentoren die boven uit hun restaurant tevoorschijn komt.

The setting is a Japanese looking village named "Little Tokyo" where the Pizza Cats run a pizza fast food business. Little Tokyo is populated by all kinds of animals. The official governor of the town is the Emperor, but since he has gone bananas a council takes care of the well-being of the village. One of the members of this council is called Seymour "Big" Cheese, who secretly wishes to take over control of the village. The pizza take away restaurant is merely a cover for their true job... Whenever evil is afoot, the Pizza Cats are launched towards the danger from the gun-lookalike clock tower that emerges from the top of their restaurant.

Cette série animée nous plonge dans un Japon mi-féodal, mi-futuriste et nous conte les aventures de 3 chats livreurs de pizzas, Toufou Touflamme, Guidon et Poly Ester, qui se transforment en chats-samouraïs dès qu'un danger approche. 

Ensemble, ils doivent combattre, le méchant empereur Dusournois et ses sbires Ducrochu et Ducorbeau. 

Mais l'empereur dispose de nombreuses machines diaboliques qui présentent à chaque fois, une épreuve de plus à surmonter pour nos trois héros.

La storia dell'anime è ambientata in un piccolo villaggio giapponese chiamato Little Tokyo, abitato unicamente da qualunque tipo di animale antropomorfo. Qui tre gatti Romeo, Marilena e Guido gestiscono una pizzeria fast food, che però è in realtà è una mera copertura. I tre gatti infatti possono diventare dei guerrieri ipertecnologici che combattono i malvagi che vogliono prendere il potere a Little Tokyo. Infatti il villaggio è minacciato dalla volpe Attila, membro del consiglio cittadino, che tenta di prendere il controllo di Little Tokyo, ma invano perché Romeo, Marilena e Guido l'hanno sconfitto e vendicato i suoi misfatti dopo aver salvato il villaggio e il consiglio cittadino dal crimine.

Действие сериала проиcходит в Малом Токио — городе, где традиционное встречается с футуристическим. Город населён разнообразными антропоморфными животными из крови и плоти, у многих из которых, однако, имеются кибернетические части тела. Официально, правителем Малого Токио является Император Фред. Но после того, как были удалены его зубы мудрости, он сошёл с ума. Позади консула находится премьер-министр Сеймур «Большой» Сыр, который постоянно пытается свергнуть Принцессу и консула, таким образом став Императором Малого Токио. Только командир Дворцовской Охраны — Аль Денте — знает о тайных коварных планах Большого Сыра. Однако, из-за недостатка доказательств, его единственный выбор — предотвращать исполнение планов Сеймура. Для этого он нанимает троих юных котов-воинов, Samurai Pizza Cats. Каждый из них обладает своими навыками и оружием, которые помогают им защитить граждан Малого Токио, как правило от гигантских роботов Сеймура Сыра.

El lugar donde se desarrolla la trama es la ciudad de Pequeño Tokio (Edoropolis en la versión japonesa), que mezcla elementos tradicionales y futuristas. Está poblada por muchos tipos de jujin o animaloides, muchos de los cuales tienen partes cibernéticas en sus cuerpos.

El gobernante oficial es el Emperador Fred (Shōgun Tokugawa). Desafortunadamente, el emperador está rematadamente loco, porque le fueron quitadas sus muelas del juicio. Por lo tanto, Pequeño Tokio es actualmente gobernada por la princesa Violeta y un consejo. La cabeza del concilio es el primer ministro Gran Quesote, quien constantemente intenta derrocar al emperador y convertirse en el emperador de Pequeño Tokio.

Solamente el Gran Dientón (Al Dente) (Wanko-no-Kami), comandante de la Guardia del Palacio, sabe de los planes clandestinos del Gran Quesote. No tiene pruebas suficientes para exponerlos ante la luz pública y mostrar lo que verdaderamente es Quesote, lo único que le queda es prevenir sus esfuerzos de lo que pueda suceder. Él reclutó tres jóvenes gatos guerreros, los Gatos Samurái, cada uno de los cuales posee habilidades y armas para ayudarlo a mantener la paz entre los ciudadanos de Pequeño Tokio, a pesar de los intentos del Gran Quesote, el cual toma la forma de un robot gigante.

Serie de TV (1990-1991). 54 episodios. Los Gatos Samurai, son tres gatos maestros en las artes marciales, Speedy que es el líder del grupo y posiblemente el más fuerte, cuenta con su Sable Mágico Ginzu y su espada Binky para acabar con los enemigos ; Poli es la gatita del grupo, la cual se suele enojar fácilmente y golpear a los otros dos gatos o a quien la moleste con lo que tenga a mano. Su armas son sus garras y corazones de metal que arroja a sus enemigos, además usa una flauta que suele tocar seguido y que unida a su espada le permite hacer un ataque muy especial; y Guido el galán del grupo, Su arma es el “Parasol de la perdición”, que es una especie de sombrilla de metal, la cual puede usar para hipnotizar a los enemigos o para freírlos con un rayo de fuego.
