Discuss Roadkill

Item: Roadkill

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: David Hare is listed as a producer but not writer. The system will not allow me to add him as a writer. In letterboxd, the series does not have a credited writer.

Hi @hungerist. Per our guidelines directors and writers are should be added at episodic level and not to the full series. If a third-party website does not reflect the proper credits then it's an import issue on their part. Nothing we can do from here.

Thanks! On the "full cast and crew" page for COLLATERAL, David Hare is listed as a writer, which is against your policy? https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/111573-roadkill/cast

On the full "cast and crew" page for ROADKILL, there is no writer, only a script editor. https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/111573-roadkill/cast

Why the difference? This is the discrepancy that's impacting third party importing.

On both series individual episode listings on TMDB, David Hare is credited as writer of each episode.

Full cast and crew section feature all the credits the show has. Both at episodic and series level. As you can see some people are credited there with only 1 episode. What I meant with the guidelines part is that directors and writers should not be added at series level here. Doing that used to cause a bug which will make the credits disappear too, not sure if it's still on.

Should be an easy fix on their part I believe. For instance, Letterboxd some months ago didn't import directors at episodic level for TV series, but they eventually got around it. Letting them know about the issue should speed up the process. As I said, there's no much we can do from here.
