Discuss W1A

Can't understand this show. It's just too much. The fast talking, speaking over one another, caricatured characters and cliches are exhausting in seconds, and despite the stellar cast, no-one seems very comfortable in the role they're playing. The "sure/ ok/ good/ brilliant/ fabulous" interjections are so tiresome and while some of the situations have the potential for great comedy, the show never seems to find it. The whole outcome just makes me relieved for genuinely hilarious mockumentaries like The Thick of It, Veep and The Office. It's a shame, because there's definitely stacks of potential for a comedy at the BBC, just this isn't it.
