محادثة العَالَمُ الغَربِي

I still don't see how a ricocheted bullet knows not to hit a guest. I always thought that they were not using real guns at all but given the events at the season one finale we can see that they clearly are.

They've never fully explained how the park guns work. A host is damaged by their bullets just like a human would be. And yet, there were several occasions when William got shot and it almost looked like there was a force field protecting him. You could see where the impacts were happening but he didn't even flinch - as though the bullets just dissolved.

Yep, I am rewatching season one now and that is exact scene where Teddy shoots him trying to protect Dolores you can see an impact but it is as though he was hit with a weak pellet gun. It makes a mark on his jacket but it doesn't penetrate.

Still another thing to NOTE is the way we see MAEVE swinging the SWORD in the PREVIEWS when she's also dressed up like she's a character in SAMURAI WORLD.

So what happens in a case like that???

How does one manipulate a SWORD the way one does by placing a BLANK BULLET in a GUN so that it won't harm a GUEST when a ROBOT swings one of those at them???

Another possibility is the other scene where we see the BULL with part of its side missing as it's charging in the LAB SETTING and in the BACKGROUND one also sees the WESTERN scene with the BIG ROCKS DISSOLVING away as if that's nothing but a HOLOGRAPHIC IMAGE instead of it's being REAL.

So if the SETTING isn't REAL, perhaps there could also be a way for the FAKE BULLETS being fired at GUESTS to be ABSORBED by the GRID that the SCENERY is projected onto???

When THE MAN in BLACK was thrown in jail and they set off an explosive to OPEN the LOCK the others in the CONTROL ROOM were also controlling that explosion in some way.

So perhaps they'd also be controlling the other scenes where the GUNS are FIRED at the GUESTS???

Because they'd also have the NARRATIVES and know when a scene like that would be coming up.

But with the system down and those in the CONTROL ROOM having been murdered, that situation also wouldn't work anymore once the ROBOT REVOLUTION begins.

And the other option where a ROBOT is suppose to FREEZE in PLACE once you issue the STOP command to them also stops working even before that. Because the guy who was with ELSIE last season also couldn't get it to work for him when they went to get the head of the other ROBOT who got stuck in the ROCK.

And it also didn't work for the WRITER when he orders the ROBOT who's about to EAT him alive to STOP.

But then along comes MAEVE who doesn't even issue the ORDER and only says that it's FED ENOUGH who is able to make it FREEZE???

How did she do that???

How would she know what to say to it to make it STOP???

And how did MAEVE also know what to say to the other ROBOT WOMAN when she rubs her hand across her face and says the line about DREAMING a DEEP SLUMBER and puts her to sleep???

It obviously has something to do with a BUILT in CODE system (which the young BOY version of FORD also mentions to the MAN in BLACK).

But how did MAEVE get a hold of those kind of CODES???

If she has them does that also mean she can MANIPULATE characters the same way as we saw FORD doing the SNAKE and the other ROBOTS who were serving him the MEAL that he had with the WOMAN named THERESA (the one he also had BERN KILL)???

Could MAEVE be the NEW GODDESS of the PARK now who has the same kind of POWERS that FORD use to have before he died???

I'm pretty sure there is a scene last season that shows Maeve download a bunch of shit that shows here a lot of things. I am also interested in how they keep people from slicing their arms off in the Samurai World. I have to admit, if there was a Samurai World, That is the one I would be addicted to. crossed_swords . The original movie had a Roman World and a Medieval World as well. Even those sound funner than West World although I would not be wanting to eat the shit the Romans ate. They ate some weird shit.

HBO also had the ROME program but can't recall what they ate in it.

YES! It was precisely in that show where they featured them eating fried mice and some small birds like sparrows. As a matter of fact it was the second episode when Pullo and Verunus return little Augustus safe to Attia where Augustus insists they stay for dinner as equals . (Looks like we are well on our way to returning to that class based society) She offers them some dormouse which was considered a delicacy and a social status sorta like caviar (also yuck).
