The Oscars are (in)famous for putting agendas above real quality.

Well tonight it is pretty obvious by letting a mediocre Marvel film win Thor Ragnarok and Infinity War were much better. WTF they gave Kathleen Kennedy a Thalberg award? for what? screwing up Star Wars Irving Thalberg is rolling around in his grave

A week or so ago: I was fatigued from lung issues and, for some reason, was on a courtroom drama kick.
I was watching Perry Mason. Sherry Jackson (Andrea from What are Little Girls Made of?) was in the wrong place at the wrong time (at the site of a burning house when the murder victim was inside). Later in the episode, detective Paul Drake meets Kathie Brown (Kirk's fast girl in Wink of an Eye) and gives her a bunch of heavy flattery in exchange for vital information. Then I dosed off.
When I woke up, Matlock was on. Andy Matlock Taylor was on trial for bribery or something. The judge was Jason Wingreen (the doomed bible quoting scientist on The Empath). According to the bottom of the television screen, a T.J. Hooker episode was on its way. I didn't hang around to watch it, but I'd bet credits to navy beans there would have been a Star Trek actor somewhere in the show.
The next day, sticking with courtroom drama, I watched an episode of Law and Order: SVU. Mariette Hartley (Spocks fur bikini clad love interest in All Our Yesterdays) played a lawyer who put up a spirited defense for women's reproductive rights. Her client, though, decided to forgo the abortion and have the baby. Sadly, the client had difficulties staying off the bottle. We never did find out if her child was born with Alcohol Fetal Syndrome, but we did get a peek at her first child (who was adopted). It wasn't pretty.
Anyway-- Star Trek actors were all over the place.

Connoor's role in "Stargate Atlantis" was a recurring villain. One of those that you were glad when he was finally killed.

@Knixon : I watched Scott Bakula on NCIS: New Orleans once. He annoyed the hell out of me.

I've never even watched the show, both because I think all of the NCIS shows have wandered off into nonsense, and also - perhaps mostly - because they had Zoe McLellan playing a different character than the one she had previously established on JAG, which I thought was unforgivable.

I don't watch TV. I just happened to watch NCIS on Thursday when I was in the hospital. I love Mark Harmon. I remember when he played Ted Bundy in a mini-series about 20 years ago he did such a good job that he scared the hell out of me!

Well, the early seasons were okay. As was the pilot spin-off 2-part episode of JAG.
As for Mark Harmon, you haven't lived if you haven't seen "Summer School."
He also played a doctor for a while, on both St Elsewhere and then again later on Chicago Hope.

I hope not because you found his character ot acting was bad I hope but rather because of all the troubles he cause SGA and her crew.

You mean "The Deliberate Stranger" he also played in Goliath Awaits and had small cameos in Natural Born Killers and Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas an he played Wally Shirra in From The Earth To The Moon.
Last Christmas I saw Patrick Stewart as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol quite enjoyable but still prefer George C Scott.

I recorded the extended version of Goliath Awaits, something like 2 1/2 hours as I recall. That version was I think released on a limited number of vhs tapes, but only a shorter version on dvd.
