Did Jay see every woman from that era to know what they all look like?

Bridges made the announcement during a recent appearance on the Film Comment podcast, confirming that he will “play a part” in the film. Continuing, he expressed that he has “admired” the work of the new movie’s star, Jared Leto, and is “excited” to work with him. He also spoke about his anticipation to “see what the technology is gonna be all about.”

Recalling filming Tron: Legacy, he explained that the motion-capture technology used then is now “passé,” and the third movie will have “even less AI stuff,” and will instead use “more actual sets, [which are] beautiful.”

‘Kraven the Hunter’ Moves to December Release as Sony Pushes ‘Karate Kid’ to May 2025

Sony’s “Kraven the Hunter” is being pushed back from its August release, moving to Dec. 13, 2024. It will screen in IMAX and premium large formats.

The film takes over “Karate Kid‘s” original release date, which has been changed to May 30, 2025. It will now bow in theaters after the sixth and final season of “Cobra Kai” debuts on Netflix.

With a coveted Christmastime release date open, Sony is positioning “Kraven” as an R-rated option for the end of the year.

Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, “Kraven the Hunter” unpacks the origin story behind the Marvel villain, set before his notorious vendetta against Spider-Man. Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott and Russell Crowe also star.

The film is directed by J.C. Chandor, with a story by Richard Wenk and screenplay by Wenk, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. It’s produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach and David Householter.

Sony’s “Karate Kid” will star Ben Wang in the titular role, alongside Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, Ming-Na Wen, Aramis Knight, Wyatt Oleff and returning franchise actors Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio. I think that the idiots at Sony think that Venom3 will be good enough to win the fans back. If Venom3 is good, they might give Kraven a chance. That's likely why they have switched the two. According to industry insider Jeff Sneider, who gave multiple Marvel-related updates on the recent The Hot Mic podcast with John Rocha, said that the film was finally ready with a script and would go for filming in the summer,

“Blade is going to start shooting in Mexico this summer…it has been stripped down to Mahershala Ali just killing vampires, which is what it should have been all along.”

The film is reportedly written by Logan and Blade Runner 2049’s Michael Green. The script has reportedly undergone multiple changes but seems to have finally cracked the formula.

The film is still set to release on November 7, 2025, and has not yet been pushed to 2026.

While no other key people have been announced, the film is set to be directed by Yann Demange, who replaced Bassam Tariq.

Everybody wanted to be like NX and now streaming is ruined. We're slowly going back to TV and cable. Streaming isn't cheap, ad free and binge-able anymore. I bet these huge bundles will ask you to sub for a year. And if you want to cancel, you'll have to do that one or two months in advance.

Why couldn't they keep selling/licensing stuff to NX? Oh, I think they thought that the COVID lockdown will last forever and peeps need content to watch at home.

To me, selling/licensing is better than having your own streaming service. A streaming service is very expensive, because you must keep adding lots of new content to keep old subs and get new ones. More streamers mean more choice and that could/will lead to more churn which means more pressure to keep making content to prevent churn.
